This Health Care Overhaul Plan Is SICK…SICK!!!!

Ha ha ha ! Hold on… is  “THIS” the plan that the “deciders” have concluded is the BEST way to overhaul the malignant health care system??  Ha! What are they crazy? What are they nuts?…sigh…oh geeez!
Well, I will begin by telling you the good news. For the first time in history, “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” will also include health care as a birthright for ALL Americans. The Federal government would be responsible for making absolutely sure, that every person ((regardless of income or the state of their health))  will have access to an affordable insurance plan. Obama’s plan is to slow the ever-rising costs and to provide coverage for all the presently uninsured. WOW, that sounds great! But!
Absolutely, I want a health care plan. But in “this” newly revised overhaul plan, it appears that we  may be heading for disaster! Take a look…
1) We will still   have FOR PROFIT insurance companies as the main insurance source for the majority of  Americans seeking to “cover” themselves…just-in-case!! I repeat, FOR PROFIT health insurance companies, forsooth!! Basically, they make money DENYING you procedures! They denied my miraculous non-invasive focused ultrasound treatment… that I chose to have anyway! How dare they?! Well, DENYING is profit-making. Check this out: the salaries of the CEO’s running these FOR PROFIT insurance companies in the year 2008, Aetna-Ronald Williams, 24 MILLION DOLLAR$. Cigna-H. Edward Hanvay, 26 MILLION DOLLAR$, Coventry-Dale Wolf, 15 MILLION DOLLAR$. Health Net-Jay Gellert, 4 MILLION DOLLAR$. Humana-Michael McCallister, 11 MILLION DOLLAR$. U Health Group-Stephen Hensely-14 MILLION DOLLAR$. Well Point-Angela Braly, 24 MILLION DOLLAR$.
Are we kidding, people? This crazy CRAZY amount of  salary that these CEO’s make, is  primarily gained because they DENY YOU treatments. These FOR PROFIT insurance companies make sooooo much money that they are able to compensate these CEO’s ((and justify the amount)) with this out-of-control wad of cash!!! Yikers!!!
A more sensible overhaul of our health care sysytem would  DO AWAY WITH ALL  OF THE FOR PROFIT INSURANCE COMPANIES!! And free up a boat-load of money that could be used towards single-payer coverage.
2) The other cuckoo part of this “possible” plan involves American businesses. Employers would be choked with  the burden of paying for a huge gigunda chunk of the sum-total.  Yet another absurd, and down-right dangerous idea. To have businesses carrying the weight of health care expenses, in a down-turned economy, AND, at a historical time with record unemployment, would be laughable… IF… it were not so  dog-gone tragic!! Hiring will virtually stop if this coarse of action is allowed to continue!!
Federally-backed single-payer comprehensive health care is THE only solution!! Eliminating FOR PROFIT insurance companies and replacing the payment load, weight, and encumbrance that our American businesses would have , are but 2 problems that could/would be washed away. There are plenty plenty plenty of other reasons  for a Federally-backed single-payer comprehensive health care  plan to be signed into law, because I tell ya,  this other path/plan  is pure folly, abso-tively lunacy!!
Hey, I have a novel idea! Let’s ALL demand to be covered by the exact same plan that insures our members of Congress!!! Perfect proposition, if I may say so myself! And as sure as I am typing, this would put an end to the  influence-peddling that the pharmaceutical INDU$TRY and the FOR PROFIT in$urance companies seem to have over our “deciders!” Revolution I tell you, Revolution!
Please go to Bernie Sanders website..call him..email him..send a message by carrier pigeon! He is the ONE senator((speaking for YOU/ALL)) that is ”pushing”  the loudest, with regard to health care, and what faces  Americans at this historical moment-in-time.Read what he  logically says about this  grave matter at hand…and fricken-fracken do something…before it is tooooooooo late!! We’re dyin’ over here people…dyin’!!

So true! Employers were choking on the cost of healthcare even before this economic crisis — so hard for us to compete globally!
