This week, I attended a Fibroid Education event that a local hospital hosted. I was so excited to hear about them taking an initiative in educating women about Uterine Fibroids! Dr. Anthony Spinelli and Dr. Pradeep Rajagopalan gave an excellent presentation about all of the treatment options for uterine fibroids, covering both the advantages and disadvantages of all of the treatments.

The conversation and question that occurred right after the presentation was so great! Not only did the women ask such great questions, but even some of the males in the audience asked some great questions too. It was also really encouraging to hear a few of the women sharing their stories with everyone letting them know what they had been through.
