Mayo study finds women are satisfied with Focused Ultrasound treatment for Uterine Fibroids

A year after their procedures at the Mayo Clinic, 97 percent of the women who had Focused Ultrasound treatments for uterine fibroids said their symptoms had improved. Ninety percent considered their improvement either “considerable” or “excellent.”

Informative Video on Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)

A local television station in Orlando, Florida recently featured this segment on uterine fibroids and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE). The station interviewed a local patient who chose to treat her fibroid with UFE. Her results were very positive.  The video also references statistics about uterine fibroids, including higher rates of incidence among African-American women.
